Performance Assessment Criteria

1. Understanding of Audit Procedures

Evaluates staff’s grasp of the firm’s audit methodology and IFRS standards (Ex: risk assessments, sampling, and compliance).

2. Accuracy and Quality of Work

Measures accuracy, attention to detail, and the quality of work papers, including formatting and organization of self-explained work papers.

3. Taking Initiative and Ownership of Tasks

Focuses on the staff’s ability to proactively take responsibility for tasks and address challenges independently.

4. Time Punctuality

Evaluates the individual’s ability to arrive on time for work, meetings, and deadlines, reflecting their reliability and commitment to timeliness.

5. Timely Communication of Issues

Evaluates how promptly the staff communicates audit risks or issues to Manager/ In-charge.

6. Client Interaction

Assesses staff’s ability to manage client expectations, communicate professionally, and maintain ethical behavior.
